    Air Cargo Africa

CFR Freight in South Africa recently hosted Christian Koeppel from SacoGroupair Andy Awramenko from Simply Cargo at our ACG stall at the Air Cargo Africa show in Johannesburg from 21-23 February. Despite a slow start, the event was successful and we connected with many clients and airlines. This was a successful event in which the ACG sponsored the stand on behalf of members.

    NCS news ex India

Neutral Consolidation Services recently handled a shipment on 1 AWB of 79,384.50kg that arrived on 29 trucks into the cargo customs areas and were all offloaded in 2 hours! This was handed over to he carrier en route to Singapore and departed on the same day… well done to the NCS team!

    ACEX update ex Russia

ACEX was among the first five forwarders having booked the cargo on the resumed flight of Thai Airways. Thai Airways returned on the Russian market in the end of 2016 and resumed direct flights on the route Moscow-Bangkok-Moscow on the aircraft B777 - 4 times a week.

Another topic that received a lot of attention was the WebCargoNet rates management tool. Several members have received pricing and demos from the WebCargoNet team, should you wish to find out more I encourage you to reach out who will assist you. As the ACG, we are going to be setting up our own portal for members and associates to access, regardless of whether you are using the system locally. We are currently waiting on pricing and Andrew Arnold will be running the system from South Africa as one of his responsibilities.

    Malaysia Focus

Shipco in Malaysia would like to remind our members of their network which currently has offices across Malaysia (KL, Penang, Ipoh and Pasir Gudang) all focused on airfreight.
